Zesup Forte 100 ml

  • 47.68Tk.

Indications

Zinc Sulfate Monohydrate is used for zinc insufficiency and/or zinc loss. Zinc deficiency can be caused by a poor diet or malabsorption. Excessive zinc loss can occur as a result of trauma, burns, diarrhoea, and protein-losing diseases. A zinc supplement is given until clinical improvement occurs, although it may be necessary to continue in cases of severe malabsorption, metabolic illness, or zinc loss.

Pharmacology

Zinc sulphate monohydrate is a trace element that is involved in several enzyme systems in the body. Zinc is required by the body for optimal growth and wellbeing. Zinc is also required for sexual development and reproduction, adaption to dark vision, olfactory and gustatory activity, insulin storage and release, and a number of host immunological responses. Zinc deficiency can result in impaired immune function, delayed wound healing, a reduction in sense of taste and smell, a decreased capacity to fight infections, poor night vision, an increased chance of abortion, alopecia, mental lethargy, skin changes, and poor reproductive organ development.
